Estate & Campus Location Data
Our application collects and uses location data to support safety and emergency response features.
When Location Data Is Collected:
Location data is only accessed while a panic event is active. When a user activates the panic button, the app begins transmitting their real-time location to assist in emergency response.
Purpose of Location Data:
This data is used solely to help our security response team locate and assist the user during an active panic alert. It enables the live map to update the user’s position as they move.
Storage and Retention:
The location data collected during an active panic event is temporarily stored to maintain an accurate live map. Once the panic event ends, tracking stops automatically.
We do not store or retain full historical routes or playback information. Only the last known location at the time the panic was deactivated may be retained for record and incident reference purposes.
Sharing of Location Data:
Real-time location information is shared only with authorized security personnel responsible for responding to panic alerts. It is not shared with any third parties for analytics, marketing, or advertising.
User Control:
Users can manage or revoke location permissions at any time through their device settings. However, disabling location access will prevent the panic feature from functioning as intended.
